The South Australian Department For Environment, Heritage & Aboriginal Affairs is required by the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972-1981 to produce management plans for each of the reserves that it controls. The Friends, in conjunction with DEHAA, have produced a Management Plan for the Whyalla Conservation Park. This plan forms the basis for future maintenance and development within the Park.
